Nestled in the rolling hills of Totoró, Cauca, Villa Aroma stands as a symbol of perseverance and innovation. Established four years ago by Cristian Campo Figueroa and Taaj Kumar, the farm was created from the ground up and now boasts approximately 3,000 trees producing exceptional specialty coffee. Managed by local experienced farmers, Villa Aroma benefits from the guidance of the Colombian Coffee Federation’s Extensionist Program, which ensures the farm meets stringent quality standards through regular audits and ongoing support.

The Geisha variety thrives in the farm’s high-altitude environment, nurtured by Cauca’s rich volcanic soil and cool evening temperatures. This elegant coffee is known for its floral and citrus notes, offering a truly refined experience. Each cherry is carefully handpicked by skilled workers, ensuring only the ripest are selected. The washed process begins with pulping to remove the outer skin, followed by an 18–24 hour fermentation to develop its delicate complexity. The beans are then thoroughly washed to remove all mucilage and sun-dried to 11% moisture content, locking in their intricate flavors and ensuring consistent quality.

Cristian’s hands-on approach, combined with the expertise of his team, has transformed Villa Aroma into a standout producer in the region. The Geisha from Villa Aroma not only showcases the variety’s renowned characteristics but also tells a story of dedication, craftsmanship, and a passion for exceptional coffee.
