Vacuum Seal for Freezing

- Select how many 250g portions you would like us to vacuum seal for you.

- We will pack your coffee into 250g vacuum sealed pouches before shipping or pick up. This option is best suited to customers who would like to freeze their coffee for longer term storage, especially when ordering in bulk or when you may not use the coffee within its recommended peak drinking window. We will send 1 x coffee bag to transfer your thawed pouch into.

- Freezing vacuum sealed coffee can help preserve freshness by greatly slowing the ageing process. It is particularly useful if you would like to hold coffee outside our usual recommended peak window of 14–30 days from roast, or 18–40 days for coffees that have had an extended maturation process or fermentation focused lots.

- Please note that the coffee’s age at the time it is vacuum sealed and frozen is effectively the age it will be when removed from the freezer. For example, if the coffee is frozen 10 days after roasting, it should be treated as approximately 10 days old once thawed.

- For best results, keep the pouch sealed while frozen, remove only what you need, and allow the sealed pouch to return to room temperature before opening. Once opened, transfer the coffee to a normal coffee bag or airtight container and use as you would fresh coffee.
